General adult ADHD reference

-
Driven to Distraction: good bunch of case studies and coping strategies.
-
A New Understanding of ADHD in Children and Adults: looking at ADHD from the perspective of it being an executive function disorder that impairs planning, prioritization, and other complex mental processes. Really big eye opener for me.

Diagnostic criteria
ADHD in women
-
ADHD Is Different for Women: article in the Atlantic covering how even the newest DSM-5 criteria are still skewed towards boys and men.
-
Understanding Women With AD/HD: Best omnibus reference I've been able to find on the topic, although slightly behind current research. Chapter 2 has a self-assessment form that asks questions better optimized for ADHD presentation in women. Another chapter covers how estrogen interacts with both ADHD symptoms and response to amphetamine.
